The right format for every question

Test knowledge with points, gauge opinions without right or wrong, or let the group come up with ideas together. Mix them freely in one quiz.

Knowledge questions

Right or wrong, with points. The faster you're right, the more you score (except in Accuracy).

  • Quiz

    Points

Players tap one of 2 to 6 tiles. You can also mark several answers as correct.

How it counts: Speed points. With several correct answers you score per correct pick; one wrong pick means 0.

  • True or false

    Points

Is the statement true or not? Two tiles, one tap.

How it counts: Speed points for the right answer.

  • Type answer

    Points

Players type the answer themselves. You enter 1 to 4 accepted answers.

How it counts: Capitals, spaces and punctuation don't matter. Spelled slightly differently? Approve it afterwards.

  • Puzzle

    Points

Players put 3 or 4 pieces in the right order.

How it counts: Only fully correct counts, with speed points.

  • Slider

    Points

Players slide to a number on a scale, with a unit if you like.

How it counts: Within the margin you choose: points for how close (80%) and how fast (20%).

  • Pin answer

    Points

Players drop a pin on an image or map.

How it counts: Correct if the pin lands in the area you draw: rectangle, ellipse or polygon.

Opinion questions

No right or wrong and no points. The screen shows what the group thinks.

  • Poll

    No points

Players pick one or more tiles.

How it counts: The screen shows how the votes are split.

  • Word cloud

    No points

Players send in a short answer.

How it counts: Words that come up more often grow bigger in the cloud.

  • Open question

    No points

Players write a free answer of up to 250 characters.

How it counts: All answers appear on a wall.

  • Drop pin

    No points

Everyone drops a pin on an image.

How it counts: All pins together on screen, so you see where the group lands. You can hide them too.

  • Scale

    No points

Players pick a value on a scale, for example from disagree to agree.

How it counts: You see the spread and the average.

  • NPS scale

    No points

How likely is it that…? Players pick 0 to 10.

How it counts: You see detractors, passives and promoters, plus the NPS score.

Think together

Collect ideas, group them and vote on them.

  • Brainstorm

    Points for the top 3

Players send in 1 to 5 ideas. You group them by dragging, then everyone votes.

How it counts: Nobody can vote for their own idea. The top 3 earn points for whoever came up with them.

Explain in between

A slide for an explanation, a new round or a break.

  • Slide

    No points

A title, text, image or video, without answers.

How it counts: Doesn't count towards the score.

How points work

  • A correct answer is worth up to 1000 points. Answer within half a second and you get the maximum; after that it drops to half by the end of the time.
  • Per question you choose standard points, double points (2000) or no points.
  • In the Accuracy game mode time doesn't matter: every correct answer gets full points.
  • A streak of correct answers in a row is tracked, but doesn't earn extra points.
  • Equal scores share a place on the scoreboard.

Visuals for every question

  • Your own photos, or search the image library and GIFs
  • YouTube or Vimeo clips with a start and end time
  • Reveal an image step by step (in Quiz, True or false, Type answer and Slider)
  • Images as answers on the tiles
  • Alt text for screen readers and a credit line
